Craigslist Lover Page 17
“You want me to stop?” His fingers began playing a game of hide and seek. He gently pinched her clit as his other two fingers teased her core.
“Fuck, no,” she blurted out, making Toby laugh out loud. “Don’t you dare stop.”
“That’s what I want to hear, beautiful, tell me what you want. What do you want?” His eyes darkened as his fingers started a scissor effect inside of her. She spread her legs as wide as she could, rocking her body against his hand. McKenzie threw her head back, leaning down on her elbows. The sunlight from outside shined through the open window right above them.
“You’re afraid someone will see us?” Toby slipped the shirt over her head, dropping it on the floor, and proceeded to suck on her breast.
“Let them watch,” she cried out.
“What do you want, McKenzie?” he asked as he nibbled her nipple.
“Taste me…” she grunted.
Toby bent down in between her legs. “Yummy…” He placed his hands on her hips, pulling her forward to his waiting mouth. He stuck out the tip of his tongue, lapping on her pussy. He started eating her out slowly, taking his time, making her squirm under his control. McKenzie positioned her feet on his shoulders.
“Oh God, yes!” she screamed leaning forward and grabbed his head. “Toby!” McKenzie chanted as her toes curled up.
He pierced his tongue as far as he could get in her delicate core, and twirled it around as his nose caressed her clit. She was now pulling his hair, begging him. “Stop…” she said and when he went to move, McKenzie locked her legs behind his neck, bringing him back. “Don’t stop…” Toby took the hint and devoured her inner lips without mercy, slurping like she was the last drop of a wild cherry slushie. Her legs started to shake, and she released the hold she had on him. McKenzie went weak, seeing little white spots as she closed her eyes.
Toby continued downing her essence, and then squeezed her thighs. “Hmmm…you’ve become my favorite meal.” He brushed his lips on her inner thighs, and caressed his way up to her stomach. Her eyes fluttered open as she gazed back at him. “Satisfied?” He kissed her stomach, watching her chest heave up and down.
“You…are…very talented.” McKenzie wiped her juices off his chin and caressed him, feeling his five o’clock shadow. “Damn…less than five minutes, and my body feels like it’s been through a five-k marathon.” She glanced at the pre-cum leaking from his cock, asking for attention from her. “I want to please you.”
“You’ve already pleased me, beautiful.”
Where had he been, years ago? she asked herself.
It wasn’t his time to enter your life yet.
Everything happens for a reason.
With Wayne, giving a blow job had been an obligation, but not with Toby. Everything she did and was doing with him felt so right. She wanted to give him the same pleasure he did her. Sex with Toby was explosive, more than satisfying.
He helped her up, and kissed her deeply, making McKenzie taste her own essence. “Didn’t you say you were hungry?” He circled his arm around her waist, pulling her close. “I’ve waited so long for this moment.” Toby kissed her chin. All of a sudden, she was jolted with sadness. Toby was leaving tomorrow for four months. He must’ve seen the difference in her irises. “Are you having second thoughts?”
“About you? No.” She brushed her nose on his and rested her forehead upon his. “I’m sad because you’re leaving me tomorrow. No warning. How long did you know?”
“I just found out.” He picked up a sandwich and drew it to her mouth, feeding her. “I can’t pass up this opportunity. It’s been a long time coming.”
McKenzie chewed. “I’m just being selfish. You’ve been working so hard at the plant.” She brushed her fingers through his hair. “You deserve a promotion.”
Toby didn’t agree or disagree. Leaving tomorrow wasn’t his decision. It was the kind of sacrifice you made for the people you loved. McKenzie finished eating her food. “Let’s get ready and pick up Caleb. Eric might be driving lil’ man crazy by now.”
He turned around and she wrapped her legs around his waist and he secured his arms under her ass as he picked her up. McKenzie smacked his naked ass and then locked her hand around his neck as he walked back to her room.
“One more time,” she sucked on his neck.
Toby gently tossed her on the bed. “I thought you would never ask.” His manhood was fully aroused, making her smirk.
McKenzie rapidly slipped off his shirt and crawled on the bed. “I’m all yours…”
Toby gazed into her irises, praying his own eyes conveyed how he felt.
“Lie down.” She patted on the mattress. “Let me ride you like a cowboy.”
He chuckled, doing as she asked. His dick was smacking his stomach. Toby couldn’t remember the last time he’d felt so satisfied. No other fucking woman would do after he had her. McKenzie crawled up his body, and kissed her way up from his ankles, calves, legs. He smirked when she took his shaft in her hand and started stroking him up and down.
Toby clenched his teeth. He was already close to coming from tasting her. Something about her essence made him wild with passion. He grabbed the sheets in his fists and pulled as she started giving him feather kisses up and down his dick, and then she wrapped her mouth around him, taking him as much as she could. McKenzie bobbed her head up and down, staring into his eyes. He was a fucking goner. Her tongue twirled around the base of his dick. “Babe…” he said through gritted teeth. “I need to be inside of you now!” He groaned.
McKenzie got up on her knees, and slowly maneuvered herself above his manhood. Toby grabbed his penis and aligned it with her opening and she gently took the head, gasping loudly.
“Fuck, beautiful.” He grunted. “Are you okay?” Toby watched her through hooded eyes.
“Yes,” she whispered, taking him in, inch by inch.
This was home. He couldn’t let her go. Toby entwined his fingers with McKenzie’s as they shared how they truly felt through their eyes. He would fight to keep her against all odds. She loved him. Toby could feel it in the way she kissed him, the way her body sang for him. It was in her words. Months ago, she’d admitted to having feelings for him, but didn’t want to act on it, and now look at them, making love. “Don’t give up on me.”
“I won’t.” McKenzie brushed her pussy on his pubic hair. He could feel her muscles contracting around his manhood, making him swell even more. “Don’t give…up on…me.” She leaned down, pressing her breast against his chest, feeling each other’s heartbeat.
“I will never…give up,” he said between clenched teeth, “on you.” He gripped her hips and slowly began to make love to her. Her lips parted with another gasp as he pushed up and she ground down. Toby wasn’t going to rush. He was going to take it nice and slow, leaving an imprint on her soul. “You’re my heartbeat.”

Toby and McKenzie sat on a bench overlooking the lake, watching Caleb run after the ducks. Toby had to get up a few times when it seemed the animals were getting tired of her little boy chasing them. Caleb laughed out loud every time they flapped their wings.
“Boys,” McKenzie said, enjoying herself. “He’s having too much fun terrorizing the ducks.”
Toby chuckled. “Wait until he terrorizes little girls.” He remembered the first time he had a crush on a girl. He would go around telling everyone that girls were nasty, but he was so into the redhead that sat in front of him.
McKenzie’s lips thinned. “Don’t say that. He will treat girls with respect and kindness.”
“Kenzie.” He twisted to face her. “I apologize. That’s not what I meant. Boys mess with little girls when they like them, that’s all I was saying.” McKenzie’s mom was right, she needed this time apart from him. She needed more than he could offer her at the moment. He would be leaving in the morning. Then he thought about it. Boys were kind of mean to girls growing up, and it took strong parents to stop that habit. His mom had always told him women were brought to the world to be cherished.
“Don’t apologize.” She caressed his jaw. “I know what you mean. I just want him to be different. I want him to treat women with tenderness, without being run over.”
Toby kissed her fingertips. “I think you should go see someone.”
“Someone?”
“To deal with your past, maybe a church group.” Toby could see he’d hit a nerve. She rapidly pulled her hand away from his. But therapy had helped him when he was a teenager.
“I’m doing just fine.” she stood. “Wayne’s out of my life. He can’t control me any longer. He has no power over me.”
“Babe…” He thought about the next words to come out of his mouth as he watched her bite her bottom lip. “He will always be in your life; you share a son. Getting help with dealing with your emotions and pain doesn’t make you weak. It shows strength.”
“This isn’t how I want to spend our last day together.” She pushed herself up and joined Caleb. “Toby, come on, help us feed the duckies.” McKenzie threw the breadcrumbs she had in her hands. McKenzie’s and Caleb’s laughter echoed through the park. Watching them play and have fun made his heart swell with joy. This was all she’d ever wanted: to be happy. “Toby!”
“Tee Tee, come!” Caleb flapped his arm, pretending to be a duck.
Toby ran over, picking Caleb up off the ground, and chased the ducks into the lake. They both chuckled. He would miss them, but he had to handle some business. He’d made his bed and now he had to lie in it.
McKenzie placed her hand on her hip. “Really?” She grinned. “Let’s go home and make some dinner.”
“You want clothes on this time?” He came up the little hill and gave her a peck on her lips. Toby placed Caleb in one arm and entwined his finge
rs with hers as they walked back to his truck.
He drove them to a nearby fast-food restaurant and ordered his last dinner in town. Back at McKenzie’s apartment, they sat around the table like they used to when she lived with him. Caleb made a mess with his food.
“Are you sleepy?” He picked him up after he saw baby boy rubbing his eyes.
“He needs a bath.” She went to push back her seat and he stopped her.
“I got it.” He kissed her son’s chunky cheeks. “Last night bonding man to man.” Toby strolled down the hallway, singing some silly lullaby. He ran the water, making sure the temperature was right, then undressed Caleb and lowered him into the water. He splashed water all over the bathroom. Toby chuckled. “I love your mom.” He grabbed a washcloth and bathed him. “Do you think she loves me?”
Caleb now played with the colorful bubbles. “Tee Tee. Bub-bles…”
“I love you too, buddy. You and your mommy are a complete package.” Toby washed his head. This was what he’d been missing: loving and taking care of his family. “I know you have a father, and am not here to change that, but I would like to be someone you look up to. Maybe your step-dad.”
Caleb giggled and then started crying, rubbing his eyes.
“Come on, let’s get you to bed.” Toby picked him up, wrapping a towel around Caleb. He dried him and dressed him in his PJs. By the time he made it to his room, buddy was out. He laid him down, and covered him with his favorite blanket. “Good night. I’ll see you in a few months.”
“And we’re going to miss you, Tee Tee,” McKenzie said coming, in to the nursery in her nightclothes.
“You took a shower without me?” He twisted around, gazing at her silky, red nightgown.
“Sorry.” She fluttered her eyes. “But I don’t think my vagina can take another beating from you.”
“I wouldn’t call it a beating; it was a wonderful love session.”
“I’ll be ready when you come back home.” McKenzie strolled up to the crib.
“I just want to hold you until it’s time for me to go.” Toby locked his arms around McKenzie as she gazed at her baby boy. “He’s a great baby.”
She combed Caleb’s hair with her fingers. “He’s my everything. I don’t think I would’ve made it through without him.”
“You’re a strong woman, baby.” He kissed her neck. “You are worthy of anything your heart desires. I wish you could see what I see in you. McKenzie, you are an amazing woman, and I hope one day I can make you as happy as you make me.”
Tears rolled down her face.
“Don’t cry, beautiful.” Toby kissed away her salty tears. “I know it’s hard to believe after everything you’ve been through, but I will earn your trust,” he whispered against the side of her face. “I have to go.”
She hurriedly twisted in his arms. “You said you were going to hold me.”
“I haven’t packed.” Toby wished he could stay but he had a few things to take care of before leaving in the morning. “I’ll call you as much as I can.” He softly touched her cheeks. “Please take care of yourself. Promise that you will look deep inside yourself and see the woman I see.” Toby brushed his lips against hers. “Chat-buddy, I’m going to miss you.” He gave her another kiss, and hugged her tightly.
“Why does it feel like you’re telling me goodbye?” she whispered.
“I could never in my right mind say goodbye to my future.” With regret, Toby walked out of the nursery, hearing her cry. He took a deep breath.
This is for you.
Chapter Twenty-Two
“Good afternoon beautiful.” Toby’s husky voice vibrated through her body.
“I haven’t heard from you in days.” She rushed the words out. “Are you okay?”
“I’ve been busy. I don’t even have time to use the phone, but any time I get a few minutes, I will call you.” Toby sounded like he was winded. “I miss you…”
“I miss you too, handsome.” McKenzie parked in front of her little boy’s daycare. “What are they training you on?”
“A little bit of everything.” His answers about his trip were always short and closed-ended. “What’s new?”
“Caleb’s vocabulary is getting better.” McKenzie smiled. “He’s always asking for Tee Tee.”
“Tee Tee.” Toby chuckled. “Tee Tee will be home soon.”
“Oh, I agreed for Carmela to spend time with Caleb once a week.” Mrs. O’Sullivan had pleaded with McKenzie to see her grandson. She’d been hesitant at first, but then she thought about her son. His grandmother had never done anything to Caleb.
“Who?”
“Wayne’s mother.”
“Do you think that’s wise? Has he been to anger management?”
McKenzie closed her car door, and leaned against it. “She visits him at my apartment, and she promised not to let Wayne have contact with Caleb until it’s court ordered.”
“You believe her?”
“Yes, I do. Carmela tried to help me once, but I didn’t open my mouth and tell her what was really happening in my home.” McKenzie remembered the night her mother-in-law had straight-out asked her if her son had ever hit her, and she hadn’t answered. “She wants what’s best for her son and my son.”
“If you trust her—hold on, babe.” Toby must have covered his phone with his hand instead of muting the device, because she heard him yell that he had five minutes. “I’m back. Have you been doing things for yourself?”
“Yes, I have. I’ve been jogging every morning. Going out for a drink with the girls at the office, and I go out to dinner by myself when Carmela comes over. I’m trying to put myself second, because Caleb will always be first.”
“I’m glad you’re out having fun, doing the things that you love.”
Someone yelled in the background. Toby Wheeler get off the fucking phone.
“Babe…I have to go. Don’t give up on us.”
She didn’t get a chance to say goodbye. Where the hell was he that they yelled at him like that? McKenzie placed her cell in her pocket and went to pick up her little boy. Caleb’s smile always lightened up her day.

McKenzie drove up the dirt road leading up to the trailer park. As she continued down the road, her eyebrows met in confusion. Was she in the right community? Then she saw Albert and Monique sitting on lawn chairs outside their trailer.
Monique waved, smiling, as she parked. She exited the car and went to the back to unbuckle Caleb. He wiggled his hands.
“Up, Mama, up.”
McKenzie picked him up and placed him on the ground. Caleb ran to Monique.
“Hey, big boy.” She showered him with kisses.
“Didn’t think we would see you around these parts after Toby left,” Albert said, sipping on his drink.
“Why not? I visit your wife all the time. It’s not my fault you’re always asleep.” McKenzie stared at the lot that had once occupied Toby’s home. “Where’s his trailer?”
“He sold it along with his truck a few days before he left,” Albert shared.
Her head snapped. “What did you just say?”
“I was in shock when I saw the truck taking it away. He sold it.” He raised an eyebrow. “You didn’t know?”
“No.” McKenzie was a bit hurt. Why hadn’t he told her? “Why would he sell his house?”
“I thought he moved in with you,” Albert said.
“Why would you think that?” She couldn’t get over Toby selling his stuff. “Why had he sold his stuff? “His job only sent him away for a few months.”
“His what?” Albert stared at her.
“Albert, it’s not your business.” Monique gave Caleb a cookie.
“No, Monique. Albert, tell me.”
“Toby quit his job a month ago. The word on the streets is that he just went in and handed in his resignation with no warning.”
McKenzie closed her eyes for a few seconds, feeling like a fool. Toby wasn’t man enough to face her and tell her that he didn’t want her. But why would he make passionate love to her and then abandon her. Once again, she’d been used by a man. When would she learn?
“You didn’t know?”
“No,” she whispered. “Eric reassured me that Toby will be back.”
